Sandrine Wierzbicki was born in 1978 and lives in Paris. Interested in art since her childhood, she first learned to draw with pastels and charcoal. In 2001, during a year of study at New York University, she started experiencing photography and film development. In 2016, she enrolled in a photography course at the Ateliers des Beaux-Arts in Paris. For 6 years she developed there her artistic sensitivity and creativity. Intimate, her photography tends to bring out her personal vision of the world. If through her work, she mainly addresses the theme of identity, her photographs also intend to be infused with lightness and poetry, playing with image overlay when shooting to reveal the sweetness of present time.
